The Tinius Trust and Schibsted Media Group has carried out a survey on the Power of Journalism, conducted by Inizio in Norway and Sweden. The survey is about the role of journalism in our society. By journalism, we mean news and information based on verifiable facts and sources, by independent, editor-driven publications and publicists.
The target group for the survey is a selection of the population in Norway and Sweden, as well as a selection of politicians in both countries.
The survey includes interviews with:
- 1152 respondents from the general public in Sweden, as well as 187 elected officials in Sweden.
- 1016 respondents from the general public in Norway, as well as 194 elected officials in Norway.
The survey was conducted in April 2018.
